We hired a guide and chartered a bus to take us on a day tour. We stopped at the Vermonte Winery, Valparaiso and finally Vina del Mar. After this we were going to catch a late night flight back to Lima.

I loved Valparaiso! In fact next to Machu Picchu this was my favorite destination of the trip. It had a wonderful old world feel to it, so different from Santiago. It reminded me of going from Rome to Sorrento or Capri.

The Wines at the Vermonte Winery were very good..
