Our first full day in Africa was spent in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It was a glorious day. We visited the Bethel Home (headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses). This marvelous, we were able to see how The Work progresses overseas.

Then we went to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphange. This stop is a great highlight for nature lovers coming to Nairobi. Daphne Sheldrick has devote her life to elephants. She has saved orphans from several countries. this place is a MUST!

We also went to the Leslie Melville Nature Sanctuary, seen above. We were able to feed giraffes. They are magnificent, gentle creatures with rough sticky tongues!

For a late lunch we went to Carnivore's restaurant. The next morning bright and early we began our drive across the Great Rift Valley and LATE at night arrived at the Masai Mara.
