Amboseli

Last updated: 12/10/2006 Updated to NEW Style Sheet

After Masai Mara, Nakuru and Aberdares, we headed out to Amboseli. The drive there was brutal. The ground was hard. Dust flew everywhere!

As horrible as we felt, we felt even worse for the animals. They were well overdue for some water.

Amboseli is famous for its elephants. We certainly got an eyeful of elephants, as well as ostriches and hippos. And of course we got the wonderful view of the great Mt. Kilimanjaro as seen above.

Additionally we saw a Masai Village and got wonderful insight into culture. After this we drove across the Kenya border to Tanzania. (You will have to read my travel journal to learn about the horrible breakdown we had in Amboseli.)
