The sixth day was the one I dreamed of my whole life. It was the day I basked in the glory of the Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal

No it is not overrated. It is simply the most glorious building on earth. With my still camera I was able to get right up to the Taj. I could not shoot on the inside however. For the most part I you will just need to search for history on your own, but here is a 10 second primer:

The Taj Mahal was built over 20 years by Shah Jahan, the great Mughal ruler, as a tomb for his wife Mumtaz, who died bearing their 16th child. Craftsmen from all over the world were brought into work on the beautiful white marble. I spent hours staring at it as the sun moved.

A random person who wanted a picture with me.
I just wished he held the camera straight. Where Mumtaz was buried while the Taj was being built.
With my guide Sonny.
Getting back my shoes The classic shot. The sun is going down.
