(All Pictures taken with my Nikon N70 digital camera)

The first half of the seventh day I spent sick in bed. In the afternoon I dragged myself to the Agra Fort.

The Agra Fort

The fort's construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565. When his son Shah Jahan took power, he made it into his palace, adding many white marble buildings. Shah Jahan was imprisoned there by his son Aurangzeb. From his prison Shah Jahan could see the Taj Mahal, but never again go to it... until he was entombed there next to his wife.

The mighty entrance.
I shot without her permission. Would have been great if I had time to line it up properly.
