Preah Rup, Bantay Srei, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon

This was the final day of temple touring. It went from sunny to pouring rain to bright sunshine and back again. The above picture is myself and Thy and Bantay Srei.
Preah Rup - "turn the body"
Believed to have been a crematory. I love scaling to the top of this one.

Bantay Srei - The Citadel of the women
A beautiful temple pretty far from the rest of the temples. It is made of pink sandstone. It is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Shiva

A walk through the town of Siem Reap -
Sometimes the best moments are just walking around with no agenda and just snapping pictures. I started around the Grand Hotel D'Angkor and walked through the town of Siem Reap. What a great place!

East Mebon -
A Hindu shrine to Shiva. It started to POUR as I made my way up to the top of this temple. Even in the raid there were tons of kids trying to sell their wares.

Neak Pean- "the coiled serpent"
The Royal Bath. Believed to have great healing powers. I love this site. During the rainy season the bath would fill with water. There are four spouts on each side of the bath with a head at each spout. There is a human head (east), a horse (west), a lion (south)and elephant (north). See if you can spot "the coiled serpent" in the island at the center of the bath.

Ta Som-
A huge ficus tree is on the back side of this temple.
