I had 1 day in Bangkok & had thought of just winging it, but I decided to go with a tour company which would bring me to the Royal Palace.

Bangkok Royal Palace -

The palace grounds were amazing. When the sun was shining, my eyes literally hurt from the light reflecting off the gold. Going into the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, was an incredible experience. I can't even remember what most of the buildings were, so I won't try to explain them.

The Streets of Bangkok -

I stayed at the Quality Inn close to the airport and in the evening I walked around and just snapped pictures. I finally settled at a local restaruant called "Mum-Say-Bai's" and had great food. By about 2 seconds I missed seeing a moped accident.
